Warning to all clients. Total Betrayal. This vet named ''Sinead'' threatened us and called the RSPCA on us. Viciously shouted and threatened us on phone. Refusing to release video, phone SAR. Hiding evidences. Truned her back, BECAME SILENT, writing a misleading & incomplete report, which she forced us to forward to other vets, to cause further harm to our beloved cat. We have contacted RVC. She MUFFLED her sentences like being posessed, barley wanting to respond to my questions during consult. Aggrevating & calling witnesses. The vet initial promises on phone: faked positivity to have us onboard. A fake persona that became possessed & hostile later. This vet prescribed COSOPT to an already blind cat and this medication is NOT for blind cats. But to prevent blindness and lower IOP. This medication harmed our cat and caused a Neurological SHOCK. Cosopt: SHE GAMBLED WITH OUR CAT's wellbeing and prescription. 2. Lowering IOP in a blind cat does not restore vision, and the main “benefit” (preventing vision loss) is gone if the cat is already blind. 3. The drug still carries systemic risks, especially timolol in cats (slow heart rate, low blood pressure, collapse). Before review : Respond: Did you think of the welfare of the animals (meat and dairy cows/calves) who were exploited to become your meal ? Upon attendance it was incompetent & almost ''hostile''. With even suggesting euthanasia in first 30 minutes, to our perfectly striving & living , eating boy. He chooses LIFE. He does not want your euthanasia that VET Sinead, has potentially SOLD many times over the years. How do you sleep at night? Vet prescribed incorrect meds COSOPT to our cats SCRATCHED eye, causing an adverse reaction. This vet did not follow ethical guidelines that requires full transparency, regarding their specialities. They are not an Ophthalmologist & Dental specialist for more complex, long term and chronic diseases & they do not refer clients on to specialist referral hospitals with more training and machinery. She, ''did not know the term'' Stomatitis & called our cats mouth issues ''mouth disease'. I had to correct her, as their report was written in the tone to influence and harm our cats future - in the next veterinary appointment. And included inappropriate commentary. She completely ignored fight scratches. Instead they offer immediate invasive procedures that are so far from the meaning of welfare - such PAINFUL (months long) extraction of teeth & eyes (enucleation), so nothing is left of the cats face (caved in mouth & eye holes). Before suggesting further tests & correct treatment. How is this WELFARE ? Meaning this is normal practice at this practice. We have now been in touch with multiple (only few) London Referral Hospitals specialising in Glaucoma in cats, & they have informed that vets should always offer the option for a referral to help the animal/cat, before prescribing any medications that can harm other ORGANS (kidneys), & before a specialist takes a look. This was confirmed in the specialist Hospital. HER REPORT: 1. Stomatitis bacteria/dirt formulated around the teeth/gums that causes inflammation & injection due to bacteria that needs to be cleaned. She completely excluded this. 2. The vets hypothesis in the first 5 minutes, was that our cat has cancer. 3. She took blood in an incorrect & invasive manner, pocking directly in the mouth, that actually is considered as poor practice method & in many cases spreads the cancer cells if they are present. 5. She proposed euthanasia in the first 30 minutes. Which is absolutely appealing & incompetent from a vet. 6. Cancer was not present & she did not add such significant notes into the very incomplete and lacking report. 7. Majority of their procedures are extractions and injury, emergency operations. Which ARE completely different from specialist vets. This is a new clinic, and many such clinics aim is to sign on clients, earn the invested moneys back. Not interested to REFFER CLIENTS ON TO OTHER CLINICS. This would mean losing possible clients and operations.

Stop reading reviews trying to figure out where to take your pet! Just bring them here… Genuinely…. You won’t be disappointed. Service is incredible. Reception staff are lovely and responsive. The vet Sinead is so knowledgable and is great at explaining everything. Pricing is great! Complete and full transparency from the owner and you can tell she really cares about what she’s doing. The practice is very clean. The main vet and owner Sinead just has that gentle touch of someone who truly understands animals as well as a passion for what she is doing. Had issues with the old vet that my cat was registered with so was looking for somewhere new to take them. What a breath of fresh air this place was. If you love your pet, do the kind thing for them and bring them to a place where they will be truly cared for by someone who is passionate about that they’re doing and clearly very knowledgable and at a practice that has an ethos of putting you and the welfare of your animal first.

Really fantastic Vet!! After looking for a new vet as our previous vet had let us down, we saw Sinead (the vet) today for a consultation for our cat Mickey Mouse. Sinead was extremely thorough, offered explanations and was so lovely with our cat. And has many years of experience. The clinic itself was clean and modern and all the reception staff were helpful and friendly also. We were also able to get an appointment so quickly and there is free parking just outside. Really happy that we found a new vet for our cat and would highly recommend!!

I am SO impressed with the service I have received at MCR Vets with my sausage dog Bella. She had luxating patella in both of her knees. They got me in for surgery SO quickly to correct the knee issue, sent me regular updates on how she was doing throughout the day of her surgery and treated Bella with such care. They are so thorough in their explanations of the procedure, as well as properly explaining what luxating patella actually means and provided me with a detailed care plan of how to manage her post operation. I wouldn’t take Bella anywhere else and I fully trust the vets here. 100% highly recommend this Vet. As soon as you walk in, reception are super welcoming and all the Vets and nurses are amazing- you can tell they have a passion for pets and love what they do. X

We took our kitten Koji for his neuter, he was so well taken care of at MCR vets before, during, and after his treatment and he has recovered very well. I liked their cosy crates to recover in with fluffy blankets and cardboard houses. His lovely Vet Georgia was so good with him, he sits in his travel bag wanting to go back!

I’ve been so pleased and impressed by MCR Vets. The team are knowledgeable and warm. My pup actively enjoys going into the clinic because he knows he’ll get treats and a fuss. And any time I’ve had a question or concern about my puppy, the team have been responsive over the phone or WhatsApp, making me feel assured that we’re in good hands and never making me feel like a pain for reaching out. All members of staff are truly so friendly and welcoming. I also appreciate how transparent they are about costs and how much information is on their website. We’re really grateful to have found MCR Vets because it really is an amazing independent veterinary clinic!

We're so impressed with the care and service we received here after our first visit. Sinéad, the vet we had was incredibly informative and took the time to explain everything clearly, offering genuinely helpful advice and tips that felt tailored to our kitten’s needs. It didn't feel like they were just trying to sell us products or treatments, it was sincere and focused on what was truly best for our kitten. The whole experience felt caring, honest, and professional. We left feeling much more confident and well-informed. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate care!
